Description:

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk inengungkapkart stratcgi manajemen yang diterapkan di SD Negeri No. 105855 PTPN II Tanjung Morawa, bagaimana strategi dan perilaku serta interaksi para personil sekolah dalam mcmanajemen, sehingga menjadi sekolah yang berprestasi, balk claim bidang akadernis maupun non akadem is. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan proses : (1) orientasi, (2) eksplorasi, dan (3) pengecekan. Pcnelitian ini rnengikuti pola sirkulasi, di mana tahap pertarna dengan tahap berikutnya saling berhubungan. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah scbagai inforrnan kunci, guru Was, murid, orangtua rnurid, pengurus BP3/ Komite Sekolah. Jumlah informan dapat bcrkembang sesuai kebutuhan, Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui teknik; obscrvasi berperan serta, wawancara, dan pengkajian dokutnen. Pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan dengan telinik trianggulasi; yaitu inemanfaatkan sumber- sumber informasi, metode- metode dan teori- teori lain di luar yang telah digunakan, perpanjangan waktu mengadakan observasi, wawancara, pengecekan, diskusi dengan tertian sejawat dan didukung dengan kecukupan referensi. Berdasarkan basil observasi terungkap bahwa kekuatan strategi manajemen SD Negeri No. 105855 PTPN II Tanjung Morawa terletak pada peningkatan proses belajar siswa, penciptaan iklim sekolah yang kondusif, dan kegiatan ekstra kurikuler. Peningkatan proses belajar diarahkan pada peningkatan Iulusannya rnasuk ke SLTP Negeri favorit yang ditandai dengan adanya bimbingan belajar yang intensif. Iklim sekolah dibuat suasana kekeluargaan, saling terbuka, dan saling percaya, sehingga suasana sekolah menyenangkan untuk belajar dan bekerja. Strategi manajemen yang diterapkan di SD Negeri No. 105855 PTPN II Tanjung Moravia, dinamakan strategi manajemen situasional, di mana strategi yang dipergunakan disesuaikan dengan situasi dan kondisi saat tertentu. Sedangkan pola kepemimpinan yang diterapkan kepala sekolah adalah pola kepemimpinan partisipatif, di mana scniva personil sekolah diikutsertakan dalam mengambil kebijakan sekolah. Dukungan BP3/Komite sekolah kepada SD Negeri No. 105855 PTPN II Tanjung Morawa sangat berarti dalam peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas penunjang pendidikan, dukungan terscbut sebagian besar berupa finansial, yang dipergunakan untuk pernbangunan gedung, pemberian insentifkepada guru-guru, membantu pengadaan dan perawatan sarana dan prasarana sekolab, pembelian buku-buku perpustakaan dan pemeliharaan taman sekolah.

The study was carried out by applying the qualitative method, the process proceeded as follows; (1) Orientation, (2) Exploration, (3) Validation. Operationally it was done in a cyclical with the others. In these research principals as the key informant; the other informants were nice principals, from teacher, pupils, parents, head and members of parent teacher association. The number of the informants can be increased base on the need. The data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentary studies. Validation of the data was conducted by means of triangulation technique using different resources of information, methods and theories out those applied previously, along time to persistent observation, resources member check, peer debriefing, analysis negative case, reference checking. From the observation, it showed that the power of management strategy of SD Negeri No.105855 PTPN II Tanjung Morawa depends on the students learning improvement, the creating of the school atmosphere and extracurricular activities. Learning improvement is focused on the improvement of graduated pupils in entering favorite public middle school. School atmosphere is made family, mutual opens, and mutual believe so that, the school atmosphere is comfdrtable for learning and working. The management strategies that apply at SD Negeri No.105855 PTPN II Tanjung Morawa is calved situational management strategy that used base on situation and condition at the moment of the time. The leadership style that principals applied is participated leadership, in which all school personal. To follow make school decision. The supporting of BP3/School Committee toward SD Negeri No.105855 PTPN II Tanking Morawa is very significant in supporting the quantity and quality of educational improvement, it is mostly in financial that used for new building construction, giving incentive money of teachers, practical materials, buying books library and to take care schools garden.
