Description:

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa di kelas XI IS-2 SMA Swasta Budisatrya Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2012/2013 dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siklus I dan siklus II. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta Budisatrya Medan pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 dengan subjek siswa kelas XI IS-2 yang berjumlah 38 siswa dan objek penelitian adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Small Group Discussion dengan metode Group Investigation untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dimana tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencaaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes dan observasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data berdasarkan kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM). Berdasarkan pengamatan aktivitas belajar siswa, belajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Small Group Discussion dengan metode Group Investigation dapat menuntun siswa lebih aktif dan kreatif dalam belajar serta menambah semangat belajar. Dari hasil observasi memperlihatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa, pada siklus I persentase aktivitas belajar siswa yaitu 13,2% meningkat menjadi 73,68% pada siklus II. Sedangkan tes hasil belajar siswa yang dilaksanakan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yaitu 17 siswa (44,73%) yang tuntas belajar pada siklus I menjadi 31 siswa (81,57%) pada siklus II. Sebagai indikator ketuntasan belajar klasikal ditetapkan 70% siswa memperoleh nilai ≥70. Pengujian signifikansi hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik atau uji t dengan dk = 38+38-2 = 74 pada α = 0,05. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung = 6,73 dan ttabel = 1,99. Sehinggga thitung > ttabel (6,73>1,99). Dengan kata lain peningkatan hasil belajar siswa signifikan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran pembelajaran Small Group Discussion dengan metode Group Investigation pada pokok bahasan persamaan dasar akuntansi dikelas di kelas XI IS-2 SMA Swasta Budisatrya Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2012/2013 dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa

The problem was the lower of activity and the learning result in accounting. The aim of this research would know upgrading of activity and student accounting learning result through Small Group Discussion learning model and Group Investigation methods and to know the sycnificantion of upgrading lerning result in first circulation and second circulation. The research implemented in SMA Swasta Budisatrya Medan second semester of 2012/2013 academic year which the subject student in class of XI IS-2 that consisted of 38 students and the object is the implementation of Small Group Discussion learning model and Group Investigation methods to increase activity and student accounting learning result. This research is classroomaction research that consisted of 2 circulations, at each circulation consist of 4 step they are planning, action, observation and reflection. To collect data use technic test and observation. Meanwhile, data analize technic, is reduction data based of the standart of mastering score. Based on the observation of studentís activities, the studying used the Small Group Discussion learning model and Group Investigation methods could lead the students to be more active and creative and added their spirit on studying. From the observation result that the improvement was conducted on studentís studying activities, at circulation I, persentase of the studentís studying activities that is 13,2% and increasing that is 73,68% at circulation II. Meanwhile, from the result of the test show there was increasing of studentís accounting learning result, from 17 students (44,73%) were completed on studying at circulation I became 31 students (81,57%) at circulation II. As an indicator the classical studying completeness was decided 70% students got value ≥ 70. The sycnifican tested of this research used tcount = 6,73 showed that dk = 38+38-2 = 78 with α = 0,05 and ttable = 1,99 so tcount > ttable (6,73 >1,99). So that increased of students learning result is sycnifican. It can be conclude that instruction by applying the Small Group Discussion learning model and Group Investigation methods to competence basic accounting equation in class of XI IS-2 SMA Swasta Budisatrya Medan 2012/2013 Academic Year proves of activity and student accounting learning result.
