Description:

Penelitian ini adalah tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi penigkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran kontekstual. Disamping itu juga ingin diketahui bagaimana cara menerapankannya agar terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa sehingga diperoleh hasil belajar yang maksimum. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus besar, dengan masing¬masing siklus dibagi dalam sub siklus sesuai dengan jumlah materi pokok yang diajarkan. Pada setiap siklus dilakukan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan retleksi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Langsa pada kelas XII IPA-1 dengan jumlah siswa 35 prang. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2008/2009 selama satu semester. Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dilakukan tes hasil belajar, dan untuk mengamati perubahan aktivitas belajar siswa digunakan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Data yang diperoleh pada siklus pertama kemudian dianalisis untuk penentuan perencanaan tindakan pada siklus kedua. Dad hasil tes dan pengamatan pada akhir siklus kedua menunjukkan bahwa 83 % hash! belajar siswa memperoleh nilai 75 dan aktivitas belajar siswa semakin meningkat dari sub siklus ke sub siklus berikutnya. Berdasrkan hash penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kotekstual dapat meningkatkan hash! belajar siswa dan sekal ig us meningkatkan aktivitas belajarnya.

This research is an action research class tom that aims to know how highes the improvement of students learning achievement after doing the contextual teaching and learning (CTL). Beside that, also want to know how to make CTL for increase the students learning activity until get the maximum result. The study was organised in two big sycles, and each cycles is divided into several sub sycles based on the quantity of learning materials. Each Sycle consisted of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Its activity was done at SMA Negeri 2 Langsa in the XII IPA-1 grade, which followed by 35 learners. This research was done at the first semester in 2008/2009 school year as long as one semester. In this study, to know the students learning result was done the learning result test, and to observe the students activity exchange was used the observation sheet and field report. Data that were collected in the first cycle, than to be analised to determine the action plan of scond cycle. From the test and observation result at latest second cycle show that 83 % of the students learning Achievement got score 75, and lerning activity of student increase from sub sycle to the next sub cycle. Based on result of this study, can be concluded that the application of CTL can improve the students learning achievement and also can improve their learning activity..
