Abstract

IPA sering dianggap pelajaran yang membosankan dan menjenuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga banyak siswa yang belum memahami materi pelajaran dengan baik serta hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA sangat rendah. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi pokok cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran scramble di kelas V Bandar Setia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas V SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 1 kelas yaitu 30 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Pelaksanaan tindakan dilakukan selama 2 siklus, dimana setiap siklus dilakukan ada 4 kali pertemuan. Dalam setiap siklus dilakukan 4 tahap yaitu Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil tes dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Scramble pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Dari hasil pre test diperoleh siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 7 orang (23,3%) yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 23 orang (76%) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 51,33%. Setelah dilaksanakan siklus I diperoleh siswa yang tuntas belajar 24 orang siswa 81%) yang tidak tuntas 6 orang siswa (20%) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 74,66. Melihat dari hasil perolehan nilai pada siklus I maka perlu dilakukan tindak lanjut pada pada siklus II diperoleh siswa yang tuntas belajar 28 orang siswa (93,3%) yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 2 orang siswa (6,6%) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 87,66. Peningkatan hasil belajar dari keadaan awal (pre tes) ke seiklus I sebesar 56,67% dan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 13,3%. Hasil observasi guru diperoleh pada siklus I pertemuan pertama dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran scramble rata-rata 71,87 tergolong tinggi tindakan siklus II pertemuan kedua diperoleh rata-rata nilai 90,63 tergolong sangat tinggi. Dari tindakan dan analisis yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran scramble pada pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015.
