Abstract

Masalah pada peneliti ini adalah aktifitas belajar masih tergolong rendah terlihat siswa kurang semangat dalam belajar, Metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru kurang bervariasi sehingga banyak siswa yang bermain-main ribut saat kegiatan belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Starts With A Question dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SDN 057203 Stabat Kab.Langkat T.A 2015-2016 Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ”Penelitian Tindakan Kelas”. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II Masing-masing terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 057203 Stabat Kab.Langkat T.A 2015-2016 yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 14 orang laki-laki dan 16 orang perempuan, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran Learning Starts With A Question untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar IPA. Alat yang dikumpulkan dalam pengumpulan data adalah lembar observasi. Adapun yang dianalisis dalam lembar observasi adalah aktivitas belajar mengajar siswa dan guru selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari jumlah siswa 30 orang di kelas V SDN 057203 Stabat Kab.Langkat T.A 2015-2016 bahwa pada siklus I pertemuan I nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 48,41 dan pada pertemuan II nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 65,54. Sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan I nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 71,08 dan pada pertemuan II nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 85,41. Jumlah siswa yang aktif pada setiap aspek aktivitas belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada setiap pertemuan. Siklus I pertemuan I jumlah siswa yang aktif adalah 7orang dengan persentase 23,33% dan pada pertemuan II jumlah siswa yang aktif 19 orang dengan persentase 63,33%, pada siklus II pertemuan I jumlah siswa yang aktif adalah 22 orang dengan persentase 73,33% dan pada pertemuan II jumlah siswa yang aktif adalah 30 orang dengan persentase 100%. Untuk hasil persentase guru dalam setiap pertemuan juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I pertemuan I nilai persentase yang diperoleh guru 62,5%, pada siklus I pertemuan II hasil yang diperoleh71,25%, sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan I hasil yang di peroleh 80%,pada siklus II pertemuan II hasil yang diperoleh 96,25%. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Starts With A Question dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V SDN 057203 Stabat Kab.Langkat T.A 2015-2016.
