Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan metode Numbered Heads Together dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dengan menggunakan metode Numbered Heads Together di kelas V SDN 060891 Padang Bulan. Adapun yang terjadi masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah a). Keterampilan berbicara siswa masih rendah, b). Pendekatan yang di gunakan guru sangat monoton, c). Kurangnya pengguasaan kosa kata pada siswa, d). Kurangnya latihan dalam berbicara, e). Kemampuan berbicara siswa masih rendah. Sabjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 060891 Padang Bulan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 24 orang siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah Menggunakan metode Numbered Heads together dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SD Negeri 060891 Padang Bulan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Desain dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (Classrom Action Researach) ini adalah model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan 2 siklus, setiap siklus mempunyai 4 tahap yaitu : 1). Perencanaan, 2). Pelaksanaan, 3). Penggamatan, 4). Refleksi. Masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan. Alat yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi. Soal yang digunakan dalam bentuk naskah drama yang diberikan pada siklus I dan siklus II. Sedangkan observasi meliputi aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian pada saat siklus I Pertemuan I diperoleh nilai hasil keterampilan siswa yaitu : kurang terampil 8 siswa (34%), cukup terampil 11 siswa (45%), terampil 5 siswa (21%) dan dalam kategori sangat terampil siswa belum mencukupi nilai yang di capai. Pada siklus I Pertemuan II nilai keterampilan yang tercapai pada kurang terampil 3 siswa (12,5%), cukup terampil 9 siswa (37,5), terampil 12 siswa (50%) dan pada siklus ini belum ada siswa yang mencakup dalam ketegori sangat terampil. Pada siklus II Pertemuan I dengan nilai kurang terampil 3 siswa (4,1%),cukup terampil 1 siswa (4,1%),terampil 20 siswa (83,3%) dan sangat terampil 2 siswa (8,3%) pada siklus ini ada 2 siswa yang mencapai sangat terampil. Pada siklus II Pertemuan II. Terampil 11 siswa (45,8%) dan sangat terampil 13 siswa (54,1%) dimana sudah terlihat peningkatan pada siklus II Pertemuan II ini. Dengan demikian pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode numbered heads together dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SDN 060891 PADANG BULAN.
