Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kearifan Lokal
Marsialapari Petani Salak Desa Sibangkua Angkola Barat Kabupaten Tapanuli
Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan
pendekatan etnografi. Pengumpulan data terhadap penelitian melalui wawancara
secara langsung dengan informan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini bahwa kearifan lokal
marsialapari bertahan pada petani salak di Desa Sibangkua dikarenakan latar
belakang historis salak sibakkua di Desa Sibangkua, folklor salak sibakkua dan
dalihan na tolu yang melekat pada kehidupan masyarakat desa sebagai petani
salak. Adanya nilai kearifan lokal petani salak, nilai agama, nilai sosial dan nilai
ekonomi yang terdapat pada sistem sewa marsialapari pada petani salak.
Kebertahanan dan kelangsungan marsialapari didukung oleh hatobangon (tokoh
adat) dan peran kepala Desa Sibangkua. Marsialapari merupakan komoditi
budaya bagi masyarakat Desa Sibangkua yang mana mewujudkan keharmonisan
antar masyarakat Desa Sibangkua Kecamatan Angkola Barat Kabupaten Tapanuli
Selatan.
