Abstract
The study deals with Readers’ Response to Maman Suherman’s Re:. The objectives of the study were to Investigate the readers’ response to the elements of story in Maman Suherman’s Re: and the reasons for their response to Maman
Suherman’s Re:. The research method of this study used descriptive qualitative method. The data of this study were the readers’ answer of the questionnaire related to the novel. The sources of the data got from the readers that had read the entire of the novel. The result showed Readers’ response to Maman Suherman’s
Re:. The data were analyzed by using Beach and Marshall theory. The researcher found that the readers liked the elements of the story in Maman Suherman’s Re:,
the readers also give their reason in why they like the elements of the story in Maman Suherman’s Re:.
