Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran korespondensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar korespondensi yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Solving lebih tinggi dibanding hasil belajar yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament pada siswa kelas X AP SMK Swasta Jambi Medan T.P 2018/2019. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X AP SMK Swasta Jambi Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X AP SMK Swasta Jambi Medan yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan jumlah 80 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling yangterdiri dari kelas eksperimen I (X AP I) dan kelas eksperimen II (X AP II) yang masing-masing populasinya terdiri dari 39 siswa dan 41 siswa dan diambil penarikan sampel masing-masing 39 dan 41. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal yang terlebih dahulu telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran tes, dan uji daya beda tes. Tekni analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan rumus “uji-t”. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test dengan model pembelajaran Problem Solving = 51,15 dan 84,61 dan hasil rata-rata pre-test dan post-test model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament = 50,98 dan 78,17. Hipotesis penelitian ini diuji t dan diperoleh thitung sebesar 4,299 sedangkan ttabel sebesar 1,664 pada taraf nyata α = 0,005 yaitu thitung > ttabel maka hipotesis penelitian diterima Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar
