Abstract

This study aims to determain the effect of cooperative learning model STAD (Students Teams Achievement Division) Type assisted card test of the learning outcomes at the subject matter measurement in clas x SMAN 5 Medan academic year 2018/2019. The population in this study were all students of class x MIPA which consist of 8 classes by the number students per class on average 34
students. While the samples wew take by purpisive sampling technique that is as much as 2 classes X MIPA 3 and X MIPA 5 which amounted to 34 people. This type of study is quasi-experimental. Based on the result of the data analysis techniques, it is known that the student learning outcomes from the X MIPA 3 as experimental class (Cooperative learning model STAD (Students Teams
Achievement Division) Type Assisted by Card Test) and X MIPA 5 as control class (conventional learning) has a normal distribution and uniform varience (homogeneous). While based on the acquisidon of students learning outcomes seen significant difference in learning outcomes with the average students learning outcomes experimental class 71.18, while the students learning outcomes
control class 66.62. And, the affective or attitude aspect of students uses a cooperative learning model STAD (student teams achievement division) type assisted by card test show that at the time of the first meeting, the average of students atitude or affective was 53.53% and for the second meeting the average of attitude students increase 68.53%. Thus it can be conclude that there are the effects of Cooperative learning model of STAD type at assited test card in student learning outcomes in measurement topic on Grade X MIPA of SMAN 5 Medan Learning Year 2018/2019.
