Abstract

The aim of this research to know: (1) the influence of inquiry learning strategy tothe student learning outcomes, 2) the influence of inquiry learning strategy to,include the ability to answer the exam for taxonomy Bloom level (C I, C2 andC3), (3) the influence of a mind map recording technique on student learningoutcomes, (4) the influence of inquiry learning strategy to the students learningactivity. In this research, The sample of research was chosen randomly by raffling5 class for getting 4 class as research samples, determination of experimentalclasses and control classes are also determined randomly simple: the first classwill be taught with inquiry learning strategy and mind map recording technique,the second class will be taught by inquiry learning strategy with make usual noted,in the third class will be taught with expository learning strategy and make mindmap recording technique and the fourth class will be taught with expositorylearning strategy by making usual noted. The data analysis technique performedby GLM Univariate Test with significance level a = 0M5. The result of hypothesistest showed that: (1) student learning outcomes that follow the learning science byinquiry learning strategy, is significantly higher compared with student learningoutcomes that follow the lessons with expository teaching strategy, (2) inquirylearning strategy significantly the ability to answer the exam for taxonomy Bloomlevel (Cl, C2 and C3), (3) students who are recorded using mind map techniqueshave significantly higher learning outcomes than students who are recorded usingthe technique of ordinary records, (4) learning strategy (inquiry and expository)significantly affect the activity of student teaching and learning activity.
