Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran
collaborative inquiry dalam meningkatkan keterampilan 4C (Collaboration,
Communication, Critical Thinking and Creativity) siswa untuk pembelajaran
fisika pada materi impuls, momentum dan tumbukan. Populasi penelitian ini
adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Medan semester II tahun ajaran
2017/2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan cluster
random class, kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran collaborative
inquiry dan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Variabel
dalam penelitian terdiri dari keterampilan 4C sebagai variabel terikat dan model
collaborative inquiry sebagai variabel bebas. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis
dengan menggunakan uji-t satu pihak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
keterampilan 4C siswa dengan model pembelajaran collaborative inquiry lebih
baik dibandingkan dengan keterampilan 4C siswa dengan pembelajaran
konvensional.
