Abstract

This research 1s a field study on the Pulau Brayan fly-over m Medan after exposed to f1re on January 18, 2011 The preliminary study of a series of studies to be done The purpose of th1s studyis limited to characteristic of damage concrete and the v1sual mappmg of structural elements after exposed to fire The study was conducted four days after the fire In general, exposure to f1re only on the west s1do of the road bndge Yos Sudarso Crack damage concrete v1sually only on tfle wast stde of the road bridge Yos Sudarso span beams along 3 rows and 2 columns Worst damnge occurred m the beam spans tile western abutment and two of the worst f1efd condtt•ons occurred on the second !me of the abutment Forecast temperatures occur m the H•ntst affected d1stncts m the mngP 500°C-BOfYC Typ1cal damage m the form of the rela3so of tile s1de surface of ttJe structur a/ elements ancf only a few pomts that occur to exposed reinforcement The spread of spal/mg occurs m two spans on the west stele of the abutment nearest well on tile column or fogs
