Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan hasil belajar biologi siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dengan model konvensional; (2) Perbedaan hasil belajar biologi yang memiliki adopsi informasi tinggi dengan adopsi informasi rendah; (3) Interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan adopsi informasi terhadap basil belajar biologi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri I Simpang Empat, Kabupaten Karo. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Kabupaten Karo sebanyak 94 orang. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik cluster random samplig dan selanjutnya melalui pengundian maka kelas X-1 terpilih sebagai kelas yang diberi perlakuan dengan pembelajaran konvensional dan kelas X-3 terpilih sebagai kelas yang diberi perlakuan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Data Adopsi Informasi dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dan data hasil belajar Biologi dengan tes. Sebelum Instrumen digunakan terlebih dahulu di validkan. Hasil uji persyaratan menunjukkan sebaran data hasil belajar Biologi dan adopsi informasi adalah berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan uji ANAVA dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe. Hasil ini memmjukkan (1) Model pembelajaran memberi pengaruh yang berbeda secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa X SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Kabupaten Karo (Fhaimg 9,21 > F, 7,13); (2) Adopsi informasi memberi pengaruh yang berbeda secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa X SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Kabupaten Karo (Flut„„g 6,50 > F 4,00); (3) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan adopsi informasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Kabupaten Karo (Fhi,„„g 8,43 > Ftabel 7,13); (4) Hasil belajar biologi siswa padakelas Jigsaw yang memiliki adopsi informasi tinggi lebih tinggi (X = 83,62) dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki adopsi informasi rendah pada kelasJigsaw (.71(= 71,26), lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memilikiadopsi informasi tinggi pada kelas konvensional (1= 70,11) dan lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang memiliki adopsi informasi rendah pada kelaskonvensional (I= 71,46).
