Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) media puzzle dengan media kartu kuartet; (2) peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) media puzzle dengan media kartu kuartet. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini diambil secara sampling purposive sebanyak dua kelas, yakni kelas eksperimen I bermediakan puzzle dan kelas eksperimen II bermediakan kartu kuartet. Masing-masing kelas terdiri dari 35 siswa dan 32 siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes objektif pilihan berganda berjumlah 25 soal yang sudah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, daya beda, dan tingkat kesukaran untuk data hasil belajar. Sebagai prasyarat uji hipotesis, hasil belajar kedua kelompok sampel diuji normalitas dengan homogenitasnya dan diperoleh kedua kelompok sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis pertama menggunakan uji t dua pihak dan SPSS 21 (Independent Sample T-Test) untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa, sedangkan pada hipotesis kedua menggunakan uji t-pihak kanan dan SPSS 21 (Paired Sample T-Test) untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kedua kelompok sampel. Pada hipotesis pertama, diperoleh hasil dari data postest pada kedua kelas ekperimen tersebut, yaitu nilai thitung 3,031 > ttabel 2,00 serta, nilai signifikansi 0,003 < 0,05 pada uji SPSS-21. Sedangkan untuk hipotesis kedua, pada kelas eksperimen I diperoleh thitung 49,720 > ttabel 1,70 dan kelas eksperimen II memiliki nilai thitung 79,767 > ttabel 1,70 serta nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 pada uji SPSS-21. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa (a) ada perbedaan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) media puzzle dengan media kartu kuartet ; (b) ada peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) media puzzle dengan media kartu kuartet.
