Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar korespondensi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1). Pengaruh model pembelajaran generative learning terhadap hasil belajar korespondensi; 2). Pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar korespondensi; 3). Pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran generative learning dengan motivasi belajar dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar korepondensi siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 7 Medan, Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 7 Medan yang beralamat di Jalan STM No. 12 E Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Negeri 7 Medan yang berjumlah 219 siswa, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah kelas X ADM 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 35 siswa dan kelas X ADM 6 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 37 siswa, jumlah keseluruhan adalah 72 siswa. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes hasil belajar berupa pilihan berganda dan angket motivasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk uji normalitas adalah Kolmogorov Smirnov dengan kriteria Thitung > Ttabel pada taraf α = 0,05 dan uji homogenitas menggunakan uji F (Levene) dengan kriteria Fhitung > Ftabel pada taraf α = 0,05, sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunkan Anava Dua Jalur dengan kriteria pengujian adalah tolak H0 jika FA > Ftabel (dbA : dbD: 0,05), dalam hal lain terima Ha dan tolak Ha jika FB < Ftabel (dbA : dbD: 0,05), dalam hal lain terima H0 pada taraf α = 0,05. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rerata pre-test siswa kelas eksperimen = 34,86 dengan SD = 15,121 dan nilai rerata pre-test kelas kontrol = 30,27 dengan SD = 16,114, sedangkan nilai rerata post-test setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran generative learning dan konvensional = 77,08 dengan SD = 12,692. Dari hasil analisis data yang diperoleh bahwa data hasil belajar berdistribusi normal (Thitung = 0,069 > Ttabel = 0,05) dan homogen (Fhitung = 0,072 > Ftabel = 0,05). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa : 1). Rerata hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan generative learning = 81,26 dan konvensional = 73,05 dengan nilai sig. 0,000; 2). Rerata hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi = 86,80 dan motivasi rendah = 67,51 dengan nilai sig. 0,000; 3). Rerata hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan generative learning yaitu kelompok motivasi tinggi = 88,88 dan kelompok motivasi rendah = 73,64 lebih besar dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan dengan konvensional yaitu kelompok motivasi tinggi 84,73 dan kelompok motivasi rendah = 61,38 dengan nilai sig. 0,028, dalam hal ini ketiga hipotesis tersebut menolak H0 dan menerima Ha. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara model pembelajaran generative learning dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar korespondensi siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 7 Medan, Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017.
