Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh hasil belajar Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik Khususnya Pada Materi Memasang Instalasi Listrik Antara Siswa Yang Diajarkan Dengan Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Explicit Instruction Dengan siswa yang diajarkan Dengan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ekperimental, dimana dalam pelaksanaannya sengaja diberikan perlakuan (treatment) kepada kelompok ekperimen.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TPTL SMK Negeri 2 Medan Yang Mengikuti Mata Pelajaran Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dua kelas dari populasi secara acak, yaitu kelas eksperimen kelas yang menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Explicit Instruction adalah kelas XI -1 TPTL yang berjumlah 30siswa serta kelas XI-2 TPTL menjadi kelas kontrol kelas yang menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Jadi total subjek yang akan diteliti adalah sebanyak 62 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik antara Model Pembelajaran Explicit Instruction dengan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional, dimana hasil belajar Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrikuntuk kelas yang menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Explicit Instruction lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrikuntuk kelas yang menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional. Nilai rata-rata pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar22,7 dan rata-rata pada kelas kelompok kontrol sebesar 20,03. Untuk menguji normalitas data digunakan Uji Lilliefors pada taraf kepercayaan (α) sebesar 0,05. Uji normalitas instrumen Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik dengan Model Pembelajaran Explicit Instruction diperoleh Lhitung sebesar 0,0885 dan Ltabel sebesar 0,161 karena Lhitung<Ltabel atau 0,0885< 0,161, maka data instrumen pada kelas Eksperimen pada kategori Normal, uji normalitas instrument Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrikdengan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional diperoleh Lhitung sebesar 0,114 Ltabel = 0,156 karena Lhitung<Ltabel atau 0,114 < 0,156, maka data instrumen pada kelas Kontrol pada kategori Normal. Uji homogenitas instrument hasil belajar Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrikdiperoleh Fhitung sebesar 1,49dan Ftabel 1,83karena Fhitung<Ftabelatau 1,49<1,83maka seluruh varians adalah homogen, sehingga dapat disimpulkan seluruh data varians hasil penelitian homogen. Dengan hasil analisis uji beda yang memakai Uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 5% menunjukkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Explicit Instruction Terhadap Hasil Belajar Menerapkan Teknik Pemanfaatan Tenaga ListrikPada Siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai thitung = 3,363 yang lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 1,670.
