Abstract

Masalan penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Swasta Al-Hidayah Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual Terhadap Hasil Belajar Akuntansi Siswa Kelas XII IPS SMA Swasta Al-Hidayah Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta Al-Hidayah Medan yang beralamat di Jl. Letda Sujono Gg. Perguruan No. 4 Kec. Medan Tembung. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IPS terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 66 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas XII IPS 1 sebagai kelas Eksperimen yang terdiri dari 32 orang dan XII IPS 2 sebagai kelas Kontrol yang terdiri dari 34 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk mengukur hasil belajar digunakan tes dalam bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah menentukan rata-rata hitung, varians, dan standar devisa. Selanjutnya melakukan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas, dan uji homogenitas, setelah itu melakukan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest siswa kelas eksperiment = 41,66 dengan standar devisa = 11,33 dan nilai rata-rata postes siswa setelah mtnggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual = 81,83 dengan standar devisa = 11,48 sedangkan nilai rata-rata pritest siswa kelas kontrol = 40,33 dengan standar devisa = 10,74 dan nilai rata-rata postest siswa setelah menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional = 68,66 dengan standar devisa = 11,13. Dari analisis data yang diperoleh bahwa data hasil belajar berdistribusi normal ( < ) dan homogen ( < ) . Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t dan diperoleh (4,469 > 1,671) yang berarti hipotesis dapat diterima pada taraf signifikan 95% atau alpha 0,05% dk = N + N – 2 = 58. Berdasarkan hasi penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual Terhadap Hasil Belajar Akuntansi Siswa Kelas XII IPS SMA Swasta Al-Hidayah Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017.
