Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar mengenal bumbu dan rempah pada mata pelajaran Pengetahuan bahan makanan melalui model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang menerapkan pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dengan langkah-langkah penelitian terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa klas X Jasa Boga SMK Swasta Putra Anda Binjai yang berjumlah 36 orang. Intstrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan berganda yang telah dilakukan validitas dan reabilitas test soal di SMK Negeri 3 Tanjung Balai, kemudian lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan pengamatan guru untuk melihat aktivitas dan keterampilan guru selama proses belajar mengajar melalui model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dilaksanakan setiap siklusnya.Setelah dilakukan proses belajar melalui model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray pada siklus I dan dilakukannya refleksi maka terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar pada siswa yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 69,11 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sebesar 63,89% dan jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai tuntas berjumlah 23 siswa dan siswa yang belum mencapai nilai tuntas berjumlah 13 (36,11%) siswa. Kemudian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 74,5 dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sebesar 86,67%. Dengan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 22,78%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses belajar mengajar melalui model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar mengenal bumbu dan rempah di kelas X Jasa Boga SMK Swasta Putra Anda Binjai T.A 2014/2015.
