Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar Membaca dan Mengidentifikasi Komponen Elektronika kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Think Pair Share lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Konvensional.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X jurusan Teknik Audio Video di SMK Negeri 1 Merdeka Berastagi Tahun Pembelajaran 2012/2013, yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik sampel total (Total Sampling) dan untuk kelompok perlakuan dipilih dengan cara mengundi yaitu kelompok perlakuan dengan strategi pembelajaran Think Pair Share sebanyak 31 orang dan kelompok perlakuan dengan strategi pembelajaran Konvensional sebanyak 31 orang. Data penelitian dikumpul dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar Membaca dan Mengidentifikasi Komponen Elektronika, dianalisis dengan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata dengan uji t satu pihak pada taraf signifikansi 5%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar Membaca dan Mengidentifikasi Komponen Elektronika siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran Think Pair Share adalah 21,84 dengan tingkat kecenderungan belajar tinggi dan rata-rata hasil belajar Membaca dan Mengidentifikasi Komponen Elektronika siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran Konvensional adalah 19,42 dengan tingkat kecenderungan belajar tinggi. Hasil uji persyaratan analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebaran data hasil belajar Membaca dan Mengidentifikasi Komponen Elektronika yang diajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran Think Pair Share adalah berdistribusi normal dimana LHitung 0,111 < LTabel 0,159 dan data hasil belajar Membaca dan Mengidentifikasi Komponen Elektronika yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran Konvensional adalah berdistribusi normal dimana LHitung 0,119 < LTabel 0,159 dan kedua varians data adalah Homogen karena .40,184,1HitungTabelFF>Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar Membaca dan Mengidentifikasi Komponen Elektronika kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Think Pair Share lebih baik dari pada kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Konvensional pada siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Merdeka Berastagi Tahun Pembelajaran 2012/2013 dengan nilai tHitung 3,82 > tTabel 1,70
