Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student faciliator and explaining terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan kehidupan awal masyarakat Indonesia, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student faciliator and explaining efektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kehidupan awal masyarakat Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Dengan tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan penentuan populasi dan sampel. Untuk menganalisis data maka dilakukan beberapa tahapan yaitu dengan melakukan analisis berdasarkan prosedur penelitian eksperimen. Hasil penelitian Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student facilitator and explaining yang dilakukan penelitian dengan 6x pertemuan diperoleh hasil. Hasil pemberian pre test pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SFE diperoleh nilai terendah 36 nilai tertinggi 68 nilai rata-rata 52,2, dengan simpangan baku 10,64 sedangkan pada model pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh hasil pre test nilai terendah 36 nilai tertinggi 68 nilai ratarata 49,2 dengan simpangan baku 10,91. Hasil pemberian pos test pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SFE diperoleh nilai terendah 64 nilai tertinggi 92 nilai rata-rata 83,0 dengan simpangan baku 5,74 sedangkan pada model pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh hasil pos test nilai terendah 60 nilai tertinggi 88 nilai rata-rata 74,4 dengan simpangan baku 7,46. Kesimpulan Model Pembelajaran Student Facilitator Explaining ini sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa karena siswa dapat berkreasi lebih banyak dengan mengemukakan ide, gagasan dan wawasannya dengan materi kehidupan awal manusia Indonesia.
