Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih baik dari siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, menganalisis keterampilan proses sains siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis diatas rata-rata lebih baik dari siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis dibawah rata-rata dan menganalisis interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan keterampilan berpikir logis siswa dalam mempengaruhi keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Tambangan Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random class. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari : (1) tes keterampilan proses sains (2) tes kemampuan berpikir logis siswa. Adapun tes yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah dalam bentuk uraian . Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisi ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih baik dari siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, keterampilan proses sains siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis diatas rata-rata lebih baik dari siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis dibawah rata-rata dan terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan keterampilan berpikir logis siswa dalam mempengaruhi keterampilan proses sains siswa
