Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Who Wants To Be An Accountant berbasis game edukatif lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran pada siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Istiqlal Delitua tahun pembelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Istiqlal Delitua beralamat di jalan Stasiun No.1A, Suka Makmur, Delitua. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS yang terdiri dari dua kelas yang berjumlah 86 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling, yaitu kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 30 orang dan kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 30 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian untreated design with pretestand posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan berganda yang berjumlah 20 soal. Sebelum tes diberikan pada sampel yang sebenarnya, maka dilakukan uji coba instrumen untuk mengetahui validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran soal dan daya pembeda soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menghitung uji normalitas menggunakan uji liliefors, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dengan kriteria jika thitung > ttabel pada α = 0,05, maka hipotesis diterima. Dari hasil analisis data, nilai rata-rata hasil pretes kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 43,5 dan kelas kontrol adalah 44,17. Dan nilai posttes kelas eksperimen adalah 75,17 dan kelas kontrol adalah 63,83. Hasil uji thitung adalah 4,57 sedangkan ttabel = 2,002 dengan thitung > ttabel ( 4,57 > 2,002) sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Who Wants To Be An Accountant berbasis game edukatif lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran pembelajaran pada siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Istiqlal Delitua Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016
