Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahwa dengan menerapkan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Problem Centered Learning dengan Group Investigation akan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014 dengan subjek siswa kelas XII IPS yang berjumlah 38 orang. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dimana tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Dalam pengumpulan data teknik yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Sedangkan untuk analisa data dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Data hasil observasi terhadap aktivitas siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I diperoleh 19 siswa kategori aktif dan sangat aktif yaitu 50%. Sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh 31 siswa kategori aktif dan sangat aktif yaitu 81,57% berarti peningkatan 31,57%. Selanjutnya dari data nilai hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar 47,36% atau 18 siswa dengan rata-rata nilai 71,71, sedangkan pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang tuntas 86,84% atau 33 siswa dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 82,5. Jika ketuntasan hasil belajar siklus I dibandingkan dengan siklus II, maka diperoleh peningkatan sebesar 39,48%. Sebagai indikator ketuntasan belajar klasikal ditetapkan 75% siswa memperoleh nilai 75.Untuk menguji signifikansi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II digunakan rumus uji-t untuk α=0,05 dan dk = 38 1 = 37 diperoleh thitung sebesar 10,16, ttabel sebesar 2,026. Dengan membandingkan thitung dan ttabel diperoleh thitung ttabel yaitu 10,16 2,026 sehingga hasil belajar akuntansi pada siklus I dan siklus II adalah signifikan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Problem Centered Learning dengan Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014.
