Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII IS SMA Swasta Parulian 2 Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science dengan pendekatan Scaffolding di kelas XII IS SMA Swasta Parulian 2 Medan Tahun pembelajaran 2013/2014.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta Parulian 2 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014 dengan subjek siswa kelas XII IS yang berjumlah 38 orang .Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dimana dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk melihat hasil belajar akuntansi dan lembar observasi untuk melihat aktivitas belajar akuntansi siswa. Dan teknik analisis data terdiri dari teknik analisis data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif.Dari observasi yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil aktivitas siswa dengan indicator yang ditetapkan untuk aktivitas sebesar 71,86%, maka pada siklus I yaitu terdapat 50% (19 orang) siswa yang aktif, Sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat 76,32 % (29 orang) siswa yang aktif, yang menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa sebesar 26,32%. Untuk hasil belajar akuntansi siswa ditetapkan KKM 75. Maka dari hasil tes yang dilakukan pada siklus I terdapat 22orang siswa(57,89%) yang tuntas, pada siklus II menjadi 33 orang siswa (86,84) siswa yang tuntas. Indikator ketuntasan klasikal tercapai, dimana 75% siswa memperoleh nilai ≥ 75. Sehingga peneliti berhenti di siklus II. Untuk menguji signifikansi hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik atau uji t dengan dk=38-1=37, pada α = 0,05.Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung=7,41 dan ttabel = 2,02.Sehingga t hitung > ttabel. Dengan kata lain peningkatan hasil belajar signifikan sehingga Ha diterima.Jadi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Children Learning InScience dengan pendekatan Scaffolding pada pokok bahasan akun- akun perusahaan dagang di kelas XII SMA Swasta Parulian 2, dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.
