Abstract
Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah “ rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII IS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di kelas XII IS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Berorientasi Aktivitas Siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan yang Berlokasi di jln Mayjen T. Rizal Nurdin Perbaungan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IS 1 dengan jumlah 50 orang dan Objek peneltian ini adalah Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle dengan Strategi pembelajran Berorientasi Aktivitas Siswa untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar. Tekik Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar observasi untuk melihat aktivitas belajar siswa dan tes untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Adapun teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh data pretes sebagai hasil awal belajar siswa yang tuntas 30%. Data postes siklus I dengan rata-rata nilai yang tuntas 40% berarti ada peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 10%. Sedangkan, data postes siklus II dengan rata-rata ketuntasan nilai hasil belajar siswa 86% berarti ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari postes siklus I ke postes siklus II sebesar 46%. Hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas siswa sebesar 40%.(siklus I 30% sedangkan siklus II 70% ). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Berorientasi Aktivitas Siswa pada standar kompetensi siklus akuntansi perusahaan dagang di kelas XII IS1 SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan Tahun 2012/2013 membuktikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan. Hal ini berarti bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Berorientasi Aktivitas Siswa dapat digunakan sebagai alternative dalam pembelajaran akuntansi.
