Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran STAD dan strategi pembelajaran Peer Lessons dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XI-Ak di SMK Parulian 1 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2012/2013.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Paulian 1Medan yang beralamat di Jln. Sisingamangaraja No. 23 Medan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI-AK di SMK Parulian 1 Medan yang terdiri dari 25 orang siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah penerapan Model Pembelajaran STAD dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Peer Lessons. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pemberian angket motivasi belajar siswa dan tes berbentuk essay yang diambil dari buku paket yang telah disetujui oleh guru. Adapun analisis data dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan.Data nilai hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I rata-rata sebesar 71,8 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 14 siswa dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata 86,4 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 21 siswa. Dengan demikian terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 14,6 dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil perolehan motivasi siswa pada siklus I dari 25 siswa untuk kategori motivasi sangat tinggi terdapat 5 orang (20%), motivasi tinggi terdapat 10 orang (40%), motivasi sedang 7 orang (28%), untuk kategori motivasi rendah terdapat 3 orang (12%), dan tidak ada siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori motivasi sangat rendah. Sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat 22 orang (88%) untuk kategori motivasi sangat tinggi, 3 orang (12%) untuk kategori motivasi tinggi, selanjutnya untuk kategori motivasi sedang dan untuk kategori motivasi rendah dan motivasi sangat rendah tidak terdapat siswa (0%).Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran STAD dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Peer Lessons dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar akuntansi kelas XI-Ak pada standar kompetensi mengelola administrasi kas bank di SMK Parulian 1 Medan T.A 2012/2013.
