Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar akuntansi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XI IS 1 SMA Swasta Laksamana Martadinata Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2011/2012 dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dengan Strategi Pembelajaran The Power of Two. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta Laksamana Martadinata Medan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IS 1 dengan jumlah siswa 56 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan test dan lembar observasi Aktivitas. Teknik analisis data terdiri reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan berdasarkan reduksi dan penyajian data.Berdasarkan analisis data terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I diperoleh 51,78% atau 29 orang untuk kriteria baik dan sangat baik. Sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh 94,6 % atau 53 orang untuk kriteria baik dan sangat baik. Sehingga aktivitas belajar meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 42,82 %. Selanjutnya tes yang dilaksanakan pada siklus I terdapat 34 orang dari 56 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai > 70 atau sebesar (60,72%) dan 22 orang mendapat nilai < 70 atau sebesar (39,28%) dengan nilai rata-rata 69,46. Pada siklus II yang memperoleh nilai > 70 sebanyak 47 orang (83,93%) dan siswa yang memperoleh < 70 sebanyak 9 orang (16,07%) dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 82,55. Jadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 23,21%.Dalam hubungan antara aktivitas dan hasil belajar diperoleh rxy = 0,75 (tinggi), yang berarti ada hubungan positif antara aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Ini menandakan pengaruh aktivitas terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 56%.Berdasarkan analisis diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dengan Strategi Pembelajaran The Power of Two di kelas XI IS 1 SMA Swasta Laksamana Martadinata Medan Tahun pembelajaran 2011/2012 dapat meningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa.
