Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran akuntansi”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Students Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) dengan Numbered Head Together (NHT) di SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar T.A.2011/2012. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar yang terletak di Jl.Parsoburan no.24 tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IS 1 yang berjumlah 40 orang dan objek penelitian ini adalah penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Students Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) dengan Numbered Head Together (NHT). Tehnik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Test yang digunakan adalah essay test yang di berikan secara kelompok dan individual yang dilaksanakan setiap akhir siklus. Observasi aktivitas belajar dilakukan secara langsung pada saat proses belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Students Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) dengan Numbered Head Together (NHT) .Tehnik analisa data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan reduksi data, paparan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa, pada siklus I hanya 6 orang siswa (15%) yang tergolong baik sekali, 14 orang siswa (35%) yang tergolong baik, 14 orang siswa (35%) yang tergolong cukup dan 6 orang siswa (15%) yang tergolong kurang , pada siklus II menjadi 9 orang siswa (22,5%) yang tergolong baik sekali. 24 orang siswa (60%) yang tergolong baik, 4 orang siswa (10%) yang tergolong cukup dan 3 orang siswa (7,5%) yang tergolong kurang. Dari hasil analisis tersebut, dapat dilihat bahwa aktivitas siswa siklus I terdapat 20 orang yang aktif (50%) sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat 33 orang siswa yang aktif (82,5%) peningkatan aktivitas sebesar 32,5%. Sedangkan hasil tes yang dilaksanakan, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yaitu dari 40 siswa hanya 27 siswa (67,5%) yang tuntas belajar pada siklus I menjadi 37 siswa (92,5%) pada siklus II, berarti meningkat sebesar 25 %. Sebagai indikator ketuntasan belajar klasikal ditetapkan 70% dengan nilai > 67. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran dengan Model Students Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) dengan Numbered Head Together (NHT) pada kompetensi dasar membuat ikhtisar siklus akuntansi perusahaan jasa di kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012 dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini berarti bahwa Model Pembelajaran dengan Model Students Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) dengan Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran akuntansi.
