Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan return saham pada hari perdagangan dan menguji terjadinya anomali harian seperti week four effect dan bad Friday. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan terbuka yang ada di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftar sebagai saham kelompok indeks JII selama tahun 2011. Jenis data yang dipakai merupakan data sekunder berupa harga saham harian perusahaan yang menjadi sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas data sebelum melakukan uji hipotesis. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan ANOVA, One Sample T Test dan Independen Sample T Test. Hasil uji hipotesis 1 dengan menggunakan ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan return saham pada hari perdagangan perusahaan-perusahan yang tergabung dalam kelompok indeks JII tahun 2011 (0.018 < 0.05). Hasil uji hipotesis 2 dengan menggunakan One Sample T Test menunjukkan tidak terjadi week four effect pada kelompok indeks JII 2011(0.506 > 0.05 dan 0.104 > 0.05). Hasil uji hipotesis 3 menggunakan Independen Sample T Test menunjukkan terjadi bad Friday pada kelompok saham indeks JII tahun 2011 (0,034 < 0,05).
