Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajarankooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) menggunakan media teka-teki silang (TTS)terhadap hasil belajar kimia dan kerjasama siswa pada pokok bahasan koloid di SMAKatolik Budi Murni 2 Medan pada kelas XI IPA Semester Genap tahun ajaran2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA dan sampel diambil secara randomsampling yakni 2 kelas yang berjumlah 34 orang siswa tiap kelas, dimana satu kelassebagai kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas lainnya sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelaseksperimen diberi pengajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) menggunakan media teka-teki silang (TTS) dan kelas kontrol diberipengajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional menggunakan media teka-tekisilang (TTS). Instrumen tes terlebih dahulu diujicobakan pada siswa yang sudahmempelajari pokok bahasan koloid untuk mendapatkan validitas tes dimana dari 40soal diperoleh 20 soal yang valid. Dari perhitungan reliabilitasnya diperoleh rhitung =0,815, tingkat kesukaran dari 40 soal terdapat 16 soal mudah, 19 soal sedang dan 5soal sulit, daya beda dari 40 soal terdiri dari 5 soal tidak baik, 14 soal buruk, 13 soalcukup dan 8 soal baik serta distruktor dari 40 soal diperoleh 16 soal diterima, 6 soaldirevisi dan 18 soal ditolak. Hasil pengolahan data untuk rata-rata pretest kelaseksperimen 36,02 dan kelas kontrol 35,44. Semua data pretest, posttest dan gainberdistribusi normal dan dari uji homogenitas diketahui bahwa kedua kelas homogen.Dari perhitungan sikap kerjasama di kedua kelas diperoleh perbedaan rata-rata nilaikerjasama kelas eksperimen 81,46 sedangkan kelas kontrol 75,48. Perhitungankorelasi kerjasama terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kelaskontrol menunjukkan korelasi positif dengan rhitung > rtabel (0,778 > 0,339) di kelaseksperimen dan rhitung > rtabel (0,496 > 0,339) di kelas kontrol. Setelah diberiperlakuan, hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen 79,85 dan hasil belajar pada kelaskontrol 73,67. Hasil belajar dan nilai kerjasama kedua kelas diuji dengan uji t satupihak diperoleh thitung > ttabel (2,992 > 1,669) untuk hasil belajar dan thitung > ttabel(4,423 > 1,669) untuk kerjasama sehingga Ha diterima. Berdasarkan perhitungan darirata-rata hasil belajar kimia dan kerjasama siswa membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruhmodel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) menggunakan mediateka-teki silang (TTS) terhadap hasil belajar kimia dan kerjasama siswa pada pokokbahasan koloid. Peningkatan atau persen gain hasil belajar kimia siswa pada kelaseksperimen 69,11% dan kelas kontrol 59,17%. Perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajarantara kedua kelompok sampel adalah 9,94%.
