Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran menggunakan model Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal – soal Faktor Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB) dan Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK) di Kelas VI SD Negeri 060856 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi kelas VI-A dan VI-B di SD Negeri 060856 Medan tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 25 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching pada subbahasan faktor persekutuan terbesar (FPB) dan kelipatan persekutuan terkecil (KPK) di kelas VI SD Negeri 060856 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini dimulai dari pelaksanaan siklus I di kelas VI - A dan dilanjutkan dengan siklus II di kelas VI - B untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi faktor persekutuan terbesar(FPB) dan kelipatan persekutuan terkecil (KPK). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada Siklus I di kelas VI- A sebanyak 25 orang siswa, terdapat 14 siswa (56 %) telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar individu, dan 11 siswa (44%) yang masih memiliki ketuntasan belajar individu dengan nilai rata-rata seluruh siswa 60,17 pada tes hasil belajar I. Dan hasil analisis data pada Siklus II di kelas VI –B sebanyak 25 orang siswa, 22 siswa (88%) telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar individu, dan 3 siswa (12%) masih memiliki ketuntasan belajar individu dengan nilai rata-rata seluruh siswa 78,5. Pada siklus II ini ketuntasan belajar klasikal sudah tercapai karena 88% siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar individu, sehingga pembelajaran tidak dilanjutkan lagi ke siklus III. Karena telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan klasikal, individu dan terjadi peningkatan rata – rata siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II, maka dari tindakan dan analisis yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 060856 Medan. .
