Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1. Perbedaan hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi antara kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan strategi Think Talk Write dan kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan strategi Ekspositori; 2. Perbedaan hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki Minat Belajar tinggi yang diajar dengan strategi Think Talk Write dan kelompok siswa yang memiliki Minat Belajar tinggi yang diajar dengan strategi Ekspositori; 3. Perbedaan hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki Minat Belajar rendah yang diajar dengan strategi Think Talk Write dan kelompok siswa yang memiliki Minat Belajar rendah yang diajar dengan strategi Ekspositori; 4. Interaksi antara Strategi pembelajaran dan Minat Belajar terhadap hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Dharma Pancasila Medan pada Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2011-2012. Sampel penelitian menggunakan sampel populasinya itu dengan mengambil dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitian, maka sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 40 orang dan kelas VIII C yang berjumlah 40 orang sehingga jumlah keseluruhan sampel adalah 80 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian “Quasi Eksperimen”. Teknik pengumpulan data dijaring dengan menggunakan tes uraian (esai) dan angket minat belajar. Analisis data hasil penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan analisis varian dua arah (ANAVA) dan uji statistik Kolgomorov - Smirnov SPSS 17.00. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Perbedaan hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi antara kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan strategi Think Talk Write = 95 dan kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan strategi Ekspositori = 86. Setelah diajarkan siswa oleh penulis dengan strategi pembelajaran bahwa strategi Think Talk Write memiliki nilai hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi lebih tinggi, sedangkan siswa yang diajarkan strategi Ekspositori memiliki nilai hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi lebih rendah; 2) Perbedaan hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki Minat Belajar tinggi yang diajar dengan strategi Think Talk Write = 95 dan kelompok siswa yang memiliki Minat Belajar tinggi yang diajar dengan strategi Ekspositori = 88. Minat belajar siswa setelah diajarkan strategi Think Talk Write dan strategi Ekspositori sangat berbeda, maka minat belajar tinggi diperoleh siswa yang diajarkan strategi Think Talk Write memiliki nilai = 95, sedangkan minat belajar tinggi yang diajarkan strategi Ekspositori memiliki nilai = 88; 3) Perbedaan hasil kemampuan Menulis puisi antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki Minat Belajar rendah yang diajar dengan strategi Think Talk Write = 65 dan kelompok siswa yang memiliki Minat Belajar rendah yang diajar dengan strategi Ekspositori = 60. Minat belajar siswa setelah diajarkan strategi Think Talk Write dan strategi Ekspositori sangat rendah, maka minat belajar rendah diperoleh siswa yang diajarkan strategi Think Talk Write memiliki nilai = 65 sedangkan minat belajar rendah diperoleh siswa yang diajarkan strategi Ekspositori memiliki nilai = 60.

This study aims to determine: 1. Write a poem yield differences between the ability of groups of students who have an interest in low-taught learning strategies Think Talk Write and groups of students who have low interest in learning that is taught with the expository strategy; 4. Interaction between learning and interest in Learning Strategy for the ability to Write a poem. This study population is all private school students in grade VIII to the Medan Pancasila Dharma Semester School Year 2011-2012. Sample study used a sample of the population by taking two classes as the study sample, the sample of this study was a class VIII A total of 40 people and class VIII C, amounting to 40 people bringing the total sample is 80 people. The research method used was the study "Quasi Experiment". Data collection techniques captured by using a test description (essay) and questionnaires interest in learning. Analysis of data from this study were processed using two-way analysis of variance (ANAVA) and statistical tests Kolgomorov - Smirnov SPSS 17.00. These results indicate that: 1. Write a poem yield differences between the ability of groups of students who were taught the strategy Think Talk Write = 95 and a group of students who are taught with the expository strategy = 86; 2. Write a poem yield differences between the ability of groups of students who have high interest in learning the strategies taught by Think Talk Write = 95 and a group of students who have high interest in learning strategies are taught with the expository = 88; 3. Write a poem yield differences between the ability of groups of students who have an interest in low-taught learning strategies Think Talk Write = 65 and a group of students who have low interest in learning strategies that are taught with the expository = 60; 4. Interaction between learning and interest in Learning Strategy for the ability to Write a poem F count = 4.675 > P = 0.034.
