Description:

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan: (1) hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan struktur den fungsi jaringan tumbuhan dan hewan serta sistem gerak pada manusia yang dibelajarkan dengan metode penemuan terbimbing dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional menggunakan media gambar dengan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional; (2) kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode penemuan terbimbing dibandingkan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional menggunakan media gambar dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional; (3) sikap ilmiah siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode penemuan terbimbing dibandingkan dengan sikap ilmiah siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional menggunakan media gambar dengan sikap ilmiah siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas XI IA SMA Negeri I Tanjungpura tahun pelajaran 2014J-21I, berjurnlah tiga kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas XI IA SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpura dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara cluster random sampling dengan cars merandom kelas yang akan dijadikan sampel penelitian sehingga diperoleh dua kelas perlakuan dan satu kelas kontrol, yaitu: (1) Kelas XI IAI dibelajarkan dengan metode penemuan terbimbing, (2) Kelas XI IA2 dibelajarkan secara konvensional menggunakan media gambar, dan (3) Kelas XI IA3 dibelajarkan secara konvensional. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Analisis Varians (ANAVA) Satu Jalur dan uji Kruskall-Wallis. Hasil pengujian hipotesa menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode penemuan terbimbing dengan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional menggunakan media gambar dengan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional, Fhitung = 74,685 dan Probabilitas (P) 0,000; (2) terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional menggunakan media gambar dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional, Fhitung 8,906 dan P = 0,000 tetapi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional tidak berbeda signifikan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode penemuan terbimbing; (3) terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan sikap ilmiah siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode penemuan terbimbing dibandingkan dengan sikap ilmiah siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional menggunakan media gambar dengan sikap ilmiah siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional, Fhitung = 68,739 dan P = 0,000.

The purpose of this research to know the difference: (1) student learning outcomes on the subject of the structure and function of plant and animal tissues and in human motion system by method of guided discovery compared with student learning outcomes that taught conventionally using images media with student learning outcomes that taught conventionally; (2) critical thinking skill of students guided by method of the invention compared with the critical thinking skills of students who taught conventionally using images media with which students critical thinking skills taught conventionally; (3) scientific attitude of students guided by method of the invention compared with a scientific attitude of students who taught conventionally using images media with a scientific attitude of students who taught conventionally. The population in this study are all students of Class XI IA senior high school 1 Tanjungpura school year 2010-2011, totaling three classes. Samples are all Class XI IA students of senior high school 1 Tanjungpura with a cluster sampling technique of random sampling in a way to random class research to be sampled in order to obtain two classes of treatment and one control class, namely: (1) Class XI IA1 by method of guided discovery, (2) Class XI IA2 that taught conventionally using images media, and (3) Class XI IA3 that taught conventionally. Analysis test using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) One Line and Kruskall-Wallis test. Hypothesis testing results show that: (1) there are differences in student learning outcomes between students who significantly by method of guided discovery with student learning outcomes that taught conventionally using images media with student learning outcomes that taught conventionally, Fcount = 74.685 and Probability (P) 0.000; (2) there are significant differences between students critical thinking skills that taught conventionally using images media with which students critical thinking skills that taught conventionally, Feount = 8.906 and P = 0.000 but students critical thinking skills that are conventionally taught not differ significantly with students critical thinking skills are guided by method of the invention; (3) there are significant differences in scientific attitudes of students guided by method of the invention compared with a scientific attitude of students who taught conventionally using images media with a scientific attitude of students who taught conventionally, Feount 68.739 and P = 0.000.
