Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “ Rendahnya hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Medan.” Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dengan strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Medan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 5 Medan yang berlokasi di JL. Pelajar No. 17 Medan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS1 dengan jumlah 41 orang dan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa melalui model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dengan strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Adapun teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan reduksi data dan penyajian data. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa yaitu dari 41 siswa 14 (34,13%) yang tuntas pada pretest dan pada siklus I dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dengan strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here menjadi 27(65,85%) dengan rata-rata 73,78. Pada siklus II siswa yang tuntas mencapai 35 (85,36%)dengan rata-rata 81,71 yang berarti meningkat sebesar 7,93%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dengan strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012 membuktikan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan. Hal ini berarti bahwa penerapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dengan strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here dapat digunakan sebagai alternative dalam pembelajaran akuntansi.

Problem in this research is the The low of students accounting learning result of class XI IPS SMA 5 Medan. The purpose of this research was to know the increasing of activity and students accounting learning result by Applying of Mind Mapping Learning Model with Everyone is A Teacher Here Learning Strategy In Efforts Improving Students Accounting Learning Result in Class XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Medan at the Academic Year 2011/2012. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 5 Medan, at the year of academic 2011/2012, located at Jl. Pelajar No 17 Medan. Subjects in this research were student in grade XI IPS1 amounting to 41 students and object in this research is Mind Mapping Learning Model with Everyone is A Teacher Here Learning Strategy. Techniques were used to collect the data in this research are test and observation. Techniques were used to analyze data are reduction and data presentation From the result of the test shows there was increasing of the students studying result, there were 41 students 14(34,13%) students were completed on studying, in 1st cycle by using Mind Mapping Learning Model with Everyone is A Teacher Here Learning Strategy with an became 27 students (65,85%) average of 73.78. At 2nd cycle students were completed 35(85,36%) with an average value of 81.71 while the average value of student learning result 7.93 points. It can be concluded that Applying of Mind Mapping Learning Model with Everyone is A Teacher Here Learning Strategy In Efforts Improving Students Accounting Learning Result in Class XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Medan at the Academic Year 2011/2012 show a significant increase in learning result. It means that the Applying of Mind Mapping Learning Model with Everyone is A Teacher Here Learning Strategy may be used as an alternative in study of Accounting.
