Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar kimia siswa yang yang diberi pengajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran Kompetitif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pengajaran menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran Kooperatif pada pokok bahasan Larutan Asam dan Basa. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Tri Sakti Lubuk Pakam T.A. 2011/2012. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Tri Sakti Lubuk Pakam yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Populasi adalah sampel sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu Kelas Eksperimen I dan Kelas Eksperimen II. Kedua kelas diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda, Kelas Eksperimen I diberikan pengajaran dengan menggunakan Pendekatan pembelajaran Kooperatif, sedangkan Kelas Eksperimen II diberikan pengajaran dengan menggunakan Pendekatan pembelajaran Kompetitif. Soal yang digunakan terlebih dahulu diujicobakan dengan análisis instrumen penelitian dan divalidkan menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment dan dari 40 butir soal diperoleh 25 butir soal yang valid. Reliabelitas soal dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus KR-20 dan diperoleh reliabelitas soal sebesar 0,723. Data hasil post-tes menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 19,59 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 14,5. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t pihak kanan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 3,07 dan pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dengan dk = 78 diperoleh lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,667. Karena thitung > ttabel maka thitung berada pada daerah peolakan H0 (daerah kritis). Hal ini berarti bahwa hasil belajar kimia siswa yang yang diberi pengajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pengajaran tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer pada pokok bahasan Larutan Elektrolit dan Nonelektrolit. iv Difference Result of Learning given by student is Approach of Co-Operative with Approach of Kompetitif at Fundamental Discussion of is Acid Solution Of Basa XI SMA class Three Is Miraculous of Deep hollow Pakam. Population in this research is entire/all XI SMA class student Three Is Miraculous of Deep hollow Pakam which consist of 2 class. Population is sampel counted 2 class that is Class Experiment I and Class Experiment II. Both of class given by different treatment, Class Experiment I given by instruction by using Approach of study of Co- Operative, while Class Experiment II given by instruction by using Approach of] study of Kompetitif. used problem beforehand diujicobakan with research instrument análisis and valid use moment product correlation formula and from 40 problem item obtained by 25 valid problem item. Problem Reliabelitas counted/calculated by using KR-20 formula and obtained by problem reliabelitas equal to 0,723. Data result of post-tes indicate that at experiment class obtained by average value result of learning equal to 19,59 while at control class obtained by average value result of learning equal to 14,5. examination of Hypothesis use right party/ side uji-t.
