Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar lompat jauh gaya melenting melalui metode mengajar komando pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Sei Rampah tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX-3 yang menjadi sampel dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 40 orang yang akan diberikan tindakan berupa pembelajaran melalui metode mengajar komando. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan tes hasil belajar di akhir setiap siklus yang berbentuk aplikasi penelitian teknik dasar lompat jauh gaya melenting. Dengan pelaksanaan penelitian tes hasil belajar ini dilaksanakan selama satu minggu. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data dan paparan data. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan : (1) dari tes hasil belajar siklus I diperoleh sebanyak 26 orang siswa dengan nilai setelah dikonversikan sebasar (65) telah mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar sedangkan 14 orang siswa (35) belum mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar. Dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar setelah dikonversikan adalah 69,37. Namun belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan secara klasikal yang diharapkan yaitu 85%. (2) dari tes hasil belajar siklus II diperoleh data sebanyak 35 orang siswa dengan nilai setelah dikonversikan sebesar (87,5) yang telah mencapai ketuntasan ketuntasan dalam belajar dan 5 orang siswa (12,5) masih belum tuntas. Dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar setelah dikonversikan adalah 76,40. Peningkatan persentase nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dari tes sebelumnya yaitu 10,78 dan peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 22.5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat dikatakan bahwa melalui penerapan gaya mengajar komando dapat memberikan peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar lompat jauh gaya melenting siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Sei Rampah tahun ajaran 2012/2012.
