Abstract

The development and standardization of high school chemistry textbook for class XII semester I based on KTSP content standard is explained. The study is aimed to develop good quality chemistry textbook for high school (HS) student that meet the criteria of KTSP content standard. The study is conducted to obtain suitable material to be included in the textbook, to develop HS chemistry textbook for class XII semester I, and to standardize the textbook based on BNSP standard. The developed standard chemistry textbook consists of 4 chapters, they are Colligative properties of solution, Redox reactions and Electrochemistry, Chemical Elements in Periodicity, Nuclear Chemistry. The HS chemistry textbook have been developed and it meets the criteria of KTSP content standard. The respondents gave positive opinion to developed chemistry textboox (3.60), and they are agreed with the performance of the boox which has meet the the criteria of KTSP content standard.
