Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Apakah dengan penggunaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif dapat mengembangkan sikap sosial anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina Tanjung Morawa Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan sikap sosial anak melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dimana setiap siklus diadakan 2 kali pertemuan. Penelitian tindakan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitia tindakan kelas dilakukan di kelas B yang berjumlah 18 orang di TK Negeri Pembina Tanjung Morawa Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Yang terdiri 9 orang anak laki-laki dan 9 orang anak perempuan. Pelaksanaan PTK dilakukan 3 bulan mulai Januari – Maret. dengan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah lembar observasi. Adapun indikator yang dibuat Menyesuaikan diri dengan teman sejawat, Menyesuaikan diri dengan teman sebaya, Bersikap kooperatif dengan temannya, Memahami perasaan orang lain, dan Keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif.Tahapan yang dilakukan adalah pemberian tindakan siklus I, ditemukan data perkembangan sikap sosial anak yang tergolong kurang sebanyak 16,6%, yang tergolong cukup sebanyak 33,4%, yang tergolong baik sebanyak 50%, sedangkan yang tergolong baik sekali 0,0%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran kooperatif dapat mengembangkan sikap sosial anak, namun masih kurang optimal, sehingga perlu dilakukan pembelajaran kooperatif yang lebih baik pada siklus II. Pada Siklus II ditemukan data bahwa perkembangan sikap sosial anak meningkat, dimana perkembangan sikap sosial anak tergolong cukup terdapat 16,6% , tergolong baik terdapat 33,4%, dan tergolong sangat baik terdapat 50%.Dari hasil temuan penelitian tersebut diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran kooperatif dapat mengembangkan sikap sosial anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina Tanjung Morawa Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013.
