Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah:rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi pada saat proses belajar mengajar, kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam memusatkan perhatian pada pelajaran, kurangnya minat siswa pada pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi cerita anak melalui model pembelajaran cooperative script di kelas V SD Negeri Paya Kumer.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD negeri Paya Kumer Kec.Tripe jaya Kab. Gayo Lues, yang berjumlah 24 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Penemuan subjek diperoleh berdasarkan hasil observasi terhadap guru kelas yang diteliti. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, dimana setiap siklus dilakukan 2 kali pertemuan, dalam setiap siklus dilakukan melalui 4 tahap yaitu perencanan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan angket. Instrument dalam penelitian ini digunakan lembar observasi motivasi belajar siswa dengan indikator sebagai berikut: tekun menghadapi tugas, ulet menghadapi tugas, menunjukan minat terhadap bermacam-macam masalah, lebih senang bekerja sendiri, cepat bosan pada tugas-tugas yang rutin, dapat mempertahankan pendapatnya, tidak mudah melepas hal-hal yang diyakini, senang mencari dan memecahkan masalah.Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh hasil observasi siswa pada siklus I pertemuan I terlihat bahwa motivasi siswa masih rendah yaitu dengan rata-rata klasikal 49,95% dengan kriteria kurang, pada siklus I pertemuan II menjadi 57,35% dengan kriteria kurang, hal ini terlihat peningkatan, namun belum dikatakan berhasi karena masih banyak siswa yang memiliki motivasi kurang baik. Sedangkan siklus II Pertemuan I sudah tampak peningkatan dan sudah dikatakan berhasil dengan rata-rata klasikal 72% dengan kriteria sedang, meningkat lagi pada siklus II pertemuan II dengan rata-rata 94% dengan kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi guru pada siklus I pertemuan I diperoleh 69,73 yang tergolong sedang, pertemuan II 77,63 sedang dan siklus II pertemuan I 92,10 tinggi, pertemuan II 97,36 dengan kriteria tinggi, hasil angket motivasi belajar siswa juga terlihat peningkatan pada kondisi awal dengan rata-rata 53,66% kurang sedangkan pada kondisi akhir meningkat menjadi 93,25% dengan kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa penerapan model cooperative script dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi cerita anak
