Abstract
Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penggunaan model pembelajaran concept sentence dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi pokok perjuangan mempersiapkan kemerdekaan Indonesia pada pelajaran IPS di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Rikit Gaib. Jumlah Subjek Penelitian sebanyak 27 orang siswa yang berasal dari siswa kelas V pada tahun ajaran 2012/2013, dimana kegiatan dilakukan saat pembelajaran IPS berlangsung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Rikit Gaib, jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence sebagai sasaran utama bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPS di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Rikit Gaib dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence dengan yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence pada pembelajaran IPS materi perjuangan mempersiapkan kemerdekaan Indonesia di kleas V SD Negeri 1 Rikit Gaib. Untuk memperoleh data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini penulis melakukan tes dan observasi. Adapun teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif dengan menguraikan persentase yang digunakan.Setelah pelaksanaan pre test diperoleh tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal yaitu tidak ada siswa (0%) yang mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai rata-rata 40. Setelah pelaksanaan siklus I dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence diperoleh tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal yaitu 16 orang siswa (59%) yang mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai rata-rata 67. Setelah pelaksanaan siklus II dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence diperoleh tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal sebanyak 26 orang siswa (96%) yang mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai rata-rata 82,2. Dan berdasarkan hasil observasi guru pada siklus I diperoleh persentase keberhasilan guru 68,2 % dengan kriteria kurang baik. Dan pada hasil observasi siklus II persentase keberhasilan guru adalah 77,2 % dengan kriteria baik. Dengan demikian maka dapat dikatakan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Rikit Gaib pada pelajaran IPS dalam materi perjuangan mempersiapkan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Dan disarankan kepada guru untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence dalam menyampaikan materi pada pelajaran IPS.
