Abstract

The objective of this research were to discover (1) the effect of cooperative learning models (Student Team Achieve Division and Jigsaw) towards Sociology Learning Achievement, (2) the Effect of social interaction student (cooperative and competitive) toward Sociology Learning Achievement, (3) any interaction between Cooperative Learning Models (Student Team Achieve Division and Jigsaw) and Social Interaction Student (cooperative and competitive) toward Sociology Learning Achievement.The population at this research is 100 students were all grade X student of state Senior High Shcool 1 in Sei Bamban with total sample 60 students while the sample of there study was two classes of the X grade which were taken by claster random sampling. The method of this research was quasy-experiment with 2x2 design. The data analysis technique used analysis of variences (Anova) two ways. The research instrument that used to measure student sociology learning achievement was tes multiple choice with 4 options. To get of data social interaction used questionnaire of adaptation . The differences between cell doing by Scheffe test.The result of hypothesis testing research indicate that there are : (1) the result of learning achievement by using cooperative Learning model STAD was higher than cooperative learning model Jigsaw, with F count = 4.60 > Ftable = 4.01 with significant level α = 0.05 (2) the students were learning by using social interaction student cooperative were higher than the students were learning with social interaction student competitive, with F count = 5.61 > F table = 4.01 (3) there was an interaction between cooperative learning and social interaction toward Sociology Learning Achievement with Fratio = 5.05 > Ftable = 4.01 so Fratio > Ftable with significant level α = 0.05. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that students with social interaction student cooperative should be best taught with cooperative learning model STAD while students with interactional social student competitive with cooperative learning model Jigsaw. The implication is also suggested that Sociology Education teachers are teachers who plan to implement the learning model that should know the Social Interaction of students
