Abstract

Yang menjadi permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa yang disebabkan Rendahnya perhatian orang tua terhadap peningkatan cara belajar anak dalam lingkungan keluarga, Guru kurang menguasai kelas dalam pembelajaranPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa penggunaan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran Matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa V SD Negeri 040510 Kutambaru Kec. Munte Kab. Karo yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa yang terdiri 11 orang perempuan dan 21 orang siswa laki-laki, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan pengelolaan kelas untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar Matematika Alat yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pretes pertama, motivasi belajar siswa memiliki rata-rata 52,26, dengan perincian dari 32 siswa hanya terdapat 3 siswa (9,37%) memiliki motivasi yang rendah dan 29 siswa (90,25%) memiliki motivasi sangat rendah dan observasi pengelolaan kelas memiliki kriteria kurang baik dengan jumlah skor penilaian 17 dan persentasenya adalah 53,12. Setelah diberikan pengajaran dengan menggunakan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif, motivasi belajar siswa meningkat pada postes I, dengan perincian 9 siswa dari 32 siswa yang mengalami perubahan yang memperoleh hasil yang tinggi dengan nilai antara 2,80 – 3,39 sebesar 28,12% ada 9 siswa dari 32 siswa yang mengalami perubahan yang memperoleh hasil yang rendah dengan nilai antara 2,60 – 2,79 sebesar 28,12%, ada 14 siswa dari 32 siswa yang memperoleh hasil sangat rendah dengan nilai antara 0,00 – 2,59 sebesar 43,75% dan pengelolaan kelas meningkat menjadi kategori baik dengan memperoleh skor penilaian 26 dan persentasenya 81,25. Mengalami peningkatan kembali pada postes II dengan perincian 4 siswa dari 32 siswa yang mengalami perubahan yang memperoleh hasil yamg sangat tinggi dengan nilai antara 3,40 – 4,00 sebesar 12,50%, ada 16 siswa dari 32 siswa yang mengalami perubahan yang memperoleh hasil tinggi dengan nilai antara 2,80 – 3,39 sebesar 50,00%, ada 11 siswa dari 32 siswa yang mengalami perubahan dengan memperoleh hasil yang rendah dengan nilai antara 2,60 – 2,79 sebesar 34,37%, dan ada 1 orang siswa dari 32 yang mengalami perubahan dengan memperoleh hasil sangat rendah dengan nilai antara 0,00 – 2,59 sebesar 3,12%, dan pengelolaan kelas juga mengalami peningkatan dengan memperoleh skor penilaian 31, persentasenya menjadi 96,87 dan kategori yang dihasilkan menjadi sangat baik, sehingga secara klasikal kelas tersebut dinyatakan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa semakin meningkat setelah dilakukan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif.Berdasarkan hasil deskripsi data penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 104050 pada pelajaran Matemetika
