Abstract

This paper reports the identification of macrozoobenthos with physico-chemical factors in
Babura River. The measured parameter is the richness of macrozoobenthos based on biotic and
abiotic factors both in chemical and physical factors. Macrozoobenthos were taken using a
quadrant, a Surber net or Eckman grab in 10 areas, while the chemical and physical were
analyzed in BTKL Medan. The classes macrozoobenthos were found classified into 7 classes
.are Diptera, Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Gastropods, Hirudinae, Oligochaeta, dan
Chromadorea., suggesting the chemical and physical factors were able to support the live of
macrozoobenthos. Macrozoobenthos were found as many as 397 individuals macrozoobentos
consists of 14 species and classified into 7 classes.
