Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan model pembelajaran yang layak digunakan,mudah dipelajari dan dapat dipakai untuk pembelajaran (2) untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran berbasis media interaktif.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pegembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan produk Borg and Gall dan dipadukan dengan model desain pembelajaran Dick and Carey.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas X MAN Labuhanbatu Utara.Metode yang digunakan pada model ini adalah metode Kuasi Eksperimen.Sampel penelitian sebanyak 72 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 36 orang siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran “AMUSE” berbasis media interaktif dan 36orang siswa sebagai kelas control yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri.Hasil penelitian uji hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran “AMUSE” berbasis media interaktif dengan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris yang dibelajarkan dengan dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perolehan data yaitu nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah 0,006. Nilai signifikansi (sig) < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran “AMUSE” berbasis Media Interaktif lebih baik dari pada model pembelajaran Inkuiri.
