Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat motivasi dalam meningkatan hasil belajar pada peserta didik melalui pengembangan bahan ajar komik dengan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share pada mata pelajaran IPS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dan eksperimen berbentuk pretest – posttest control group design yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Huristak, Kecamatan Hristak, Kabupaten Padang Lawas, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, di kelas VIII, tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui pretest dan posttest berbentuk pilihan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dan metode konvensional untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan nilai kelayakan pengembangan bahan ajar diperoleh rata-rata 88.45 % dengan kriteria sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji anava 2 jalur untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas control, diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar IPS dengan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan, diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan motivasi belajar dengan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan, juga didapat nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan ada interaksi antara bahan ajar komik dengan model Think Pair Share yang dikembangkan dengan motivasi dan hasil belajar dengan kata lain Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.
