Abstract

Implementation of curriculum is an integral part of the learning process at school. There are five pillars of learning in the implementation of the curriculum that must be interpreted carefully for learning to produce the expeted outputs. Until now, spatial ability is not explicitly and specifically stated in the curriculum in Indonesia. Whereas spatial ability is important in everyday human life as well as for students at school. Some research indicates that realistic mathematics approach can significantly increase students’ spatial ability.
