Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) hasil belajar menulis cerpen siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Sinektik lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC); (2) hasil belajar menulis cerpen siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian rendah; (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan tingkat kemandirian terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis cerpen. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 180 siswa yang berasal dari seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP Budi Murni 1 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016, yang berasal dari 5 kelas. Sampel berjumlah 73 siswa yang diambil dari 2 kelas dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sebelum perlakuan dilaksanakan terlebih dahulu sampel penelitian diberikan angket kemandirian untuk mengukur tingkat kemandirian yang dimiliki siswa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar menulis cerpen yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian faktorial 2 x 2, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan Anava dua jalur dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Sebelum pengujian hipotesis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis data yaitu uji normalitas dengan Liliefors dan homogenitas dengan uji Fisher dan Bartlett. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar menulis cerpen siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Sinektik lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC), dengan Fhitung 5,34 > FTabel 3,98; (2) hasil belajar menulis cerpen siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian rendah Fhitung = 4,99 > FTabel = 3,98; (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan tingkat kemandirian terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis cerpen dengan FHitung = 7,78 > FTabel = 3,98) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk guru dalam mengaplikasikan model pembelajaran yang tepat sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran.
