Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari model pembelajaran yang dilakukan masih mengarah pada pembelajaran konvensional dan masih sedikit melakukan pengembangan model pembelajaran dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk pengembangan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity yang valid; (2) mengetahui keefektifan penerapan pembelajaran produk pengembangan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity yang dilakukan oleh guru; dan (3) mengetahui keefektifan produk pengembangan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metodologi developmental research 4D menurut Ghiadarajan, Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 067690 Medan dan sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis 4C (Jigsaw-4c). Instrumen pengeumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri dari: tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata skor seluruhnya terhadap Penilaian dan Tanggapan untuk Ahli Model berada pada kategori di atas empat dengan kriteria “valid”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penilaian dan Tanggapan untuk Ahli Model dapat digunakan dengan revisi kecil; (2) Kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran dengan Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity berada pada kriteria baik; dan (3) Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity lebih tinggi dari pada Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah siswa siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.
