Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan modul pembelajaran optik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE ini terdiri dari lima fase yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Data pengembangan ini dikumpulkan dengan hasil pretest, posttest, angket dan wawancara tentang pertanyaan dan pernyataan mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskripsi kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif berupa perhitungan angka hasil pretest dan posttest selama kegiatan pembelajaran sedangkan data data kualitatif diambil dari respon angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian pengembangan modul pembelajaran optik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA menunjukkan bahwa data penilaian keseluruhan dari validator memiliki rata-rata keseluruhan adalah 175,36 dengan kriteria valid. Analisis kepraktisan dengan memberikan angket respon pada saat tahap evaluation. Hasil penilaian respon siswa diperoleh nilai kepraktisan dengan jumlah rata-rata 94% kriteria sangat baik dan dapat dinyatakan praktis. Hasil efektivitas modul pembelajaran dilihat dari presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa. Ketuntasan belajar siswa berasal dari nilai post-test yang dilakukan oleh peneliti pada tahap evaluation. Pembelajaran dengan mengunakan modul pembelajaran optik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA telah memenuhi aspek keefektivan. Berdasarkan hasil ketiga analisis di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran optik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA sudah layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar yang memiliki kualistas valid, praktis, dan efektif.
